Welcome to the webpages for the 38th running of the AMPBA National Championships. Over the 37 National Championship events that have been held, many competitors have travelled from all parts of Australia and also from other countries such as USA and New Zealand. At the 2010 AMPBA National Championships, a total of 65 members entered 256 boats to compete for the National Title in each class. 

 

At every National Championship, the greatest prize in Australian model boat racing, The Middleton Trophy, is awarded to the best performance by a competitor. Over the years many great names in Australian model boating have won the Middleton Trophy and every competitor that competes at the Nationals has a chance of winning this prestigious award. There is also an award offered each year for the best performance by any first time Nationals competitor, The Murray Hunter Trophy.
