ENTRIES CLOSE Monday 18 April 2011 (postmarked or emailed) Late entries for running classes will be accepted until May 2 with fees paid. Late entries will attract a late fee of $20.00.
ENTRIES TO Completed and signed Entry forms will be accepted in person or via post or email. Only entries on the official entry form will be accepted.

Entries will be listed on the AMPBA forum once received however entries will not be listed as active until fees have been received or transferred. If fees have not been received by 18 April 2011, entries will be removed from entrants list and entrant will need to re-enter and pay fees along with the late fee if they wish to race.
EVENT RULES · Competitors and pit crews must be financial members of the AMBPA. Pit Crews not entered/racing in the event must display membership card before entering hot pit area or drivers stand. If Pit Crew is not a financial member of the AMPBA, a penalty will be applied to the Driver of One Driving Infraction for each class entered that day. · AMPBA rules will apply. · All entries must have an alternate frequency unless 2.4Ghz (i.e. D.S.M.) is the primary frequency. · Minimum of five boats to form a class. · Each boat can only be entered in one class and have only one nominated driver. · Drivers only need to attend Compulsory Drivers Meetings on the days they are entered and racing. Any Driver that fails to attend the Compulsory Drivers Meetings on a day that they are entered and racing, without notifying the Contest Director prior to meeting, will incur One Driving Infraction for each class entered that day. · Five (5) rounds will be held each day and all rounds will count. The Contest Director reserves the right, without competitor consultation, to cancel a round due to time constraints or adverse weather conditions. A minimum of Four (4) rounds will be held each day. · All competitors are forbidden to consume alcohol until the completion of the days racing. · Competitors, pit crews and race officials only in the pit area. · Enclosed shoes must be worn in the hot pit area and in the backup pit area. Penalty is One Driving Infraction for each class entered that day. · No smoking on the drivers stand, in the general pit area, in the hot pit area or in the backup pit area. Smoking is only permitted in the spectator area. Penalty is One Driving Infraction for each class entered that day. · No boats to be started and/or run on the water before 8am. Penalty is One Driving Infraction for each class entered that day. · A Contest Director will oversee the competition; his/her decision is final. · Designated Class Directors will oversee individual classes. · Objections are as per the AMPBA rules – Objection fee $100. · All road signs on the access road are to be obeyed – no access to the mine site. · Petrol Class competitors to supply their own fuel as per Rule 14.4 of the current AMPBA Rule Book. · All boats and petrol class fuel must be available at any time during and after the event for scrutineering. · Scoring will be by AMPBA System A (Points for Place). Scores will be displayed on the rear of the drivers stand. · 1st, 2nd & 3rd place awards will be determined by the accumulation of points during heats. |
